Black and white photos of soldiers in World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam fill walls in Bill Search’s office at Southeast. Except for one familiar face in a crowd of military chaplains, they are strangers—and his heroes. Keepsakes of their military service are displayed near his desk—a green helmet with a white cross, a communion set used by a chaplain in Vietnam and another one used in World War II.
